We can’t wait to see you again.  We will be open from the 6th July in accordance with the Government guidelines.

Whilst we all get to grips with the new normal, the new way of doing things, we apologise in advance for any mishaps during this transitional period. We will take all reasonable care to implement the Governments Covid-19 Secure Workplace Guidelines.

Members of our family business will be trained in new health and hygiene procedures and their responsibility to customers and colleagues.

On top of our usual day to day cleaning, rigorous cleaning will be implemented.

All customers will be required to use the hand sanitisers provided, these will be positioned at the entrance, check in, etc and all key locations.

All bookings must be made via the normal internet portals/our own website or direct with the Guesthouse in advance of your arrival. We will need to take all your details when you arrive just in case the Government need to implement Track and Tracing.

We ask all our guests to adhere to social distancing, keeping your distance 2 meters apart where possible and limiting contact with other guests whilst staying at our premises, please be courteous when using all communal areas, corridors, staircases, etc.

We ask all our guests to wash their hands regularly.

If you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone who is ill or experiencing any Covid symptons, cough, temperature, lost of taste or smell, etc, please do not stay or enter the building.

Car Parking – Arrival times will be sufficiently spread out to adhere to social distancing.

PPE – Your host will be wearing a clear face visor and disposable gloves.

Upon greeting – No hand shaking.

Hand sanitiser must be used, these will be positioned at the entrance, check in, etc and all key locations, your hosts will point these out upon arrival.

Your host will guide you through check in procedures safely, pens to be wiped down with a disinfectant wipe after each guest use, guests will be encouraged to use their own pen where possible, keys will be sanitised and placed inside an envelope, then you will be shown observing social distancing to your room, both guests and host will both sanitise their hands after procedure.

All rooms have been cleaned and sanitised, including all high touch areas have been disinfected such as door handles, light switches, kettles, etc and your TV remote will be in a protective sleeve, (changed after each guest), we have removed local information packs, (please ask your host for this information).  There is also a limited amount of consumables on arrival however extra are available on request, .i.e Tea, coffee, milk, etc.

One set of towels per guest, one toilet roll per room (more upon request). Soap will be available for showers and sinks.

We regret, that we cannot clean your room daily if you are staying less than four nights, longer stays, arrangements will be made for linen change using the appropriate PPE.

Extra bin bags will be provided and can be disposed of in an outside bin.

Our towels and bed linen will continue to be collected and professionally laundered.

PAYMENT – Guests will be asked to use card payments only – PDQ machines will be wiped down with a disinfectant wipe after each guest use – The customers card will not be handled by the host during payment.

We regret that our guest lounge and breakfast room will not be accessible until further notice, however breakfast options will be available, please discuss these requirements with your host Trish.

We have a small garden to the rear of the Guesthouse that has tables and chairs socially distanced.

Smoking is not allowed anywhere within the premises a designated smoking area is available located to the top of the car park with a wall mounted ashtray provided.
